Let's D.A.R.E. (Discover Abilities Realize Employment) - 50 Hour Career Camp
Where: In Person at: Advancing the Kingdom, 417 N. Grove St. Eustis, FL 32736
When:
- Session 1
- June 8th -11th and June 15th - 18th: 7:45 AM - 2:30 PM
- Make-up Day: June 19th: 7:45 AM - 2:30 PM
- Session 2
- June 22nd - 25th and June 29th - July 2nd: 7:45 AM - 2:30 PM
- Make-up Day: July 3rd: 7:45 AM - 2:30 PM
- Session 3
- July 6th - 9th and July 13th - 16th: 7:45 AM - 2:30 PM
- Make-up Day: July 17th: 7:45 AM - 2:30 PM
- Session 4
- July 20th - 23rd and July 27th - July 30th: 7:45 AM - 2:30 PM
- Make-up Day: July 31st: 7:45 AM - 2:30 PM
Eligibility:
- Be between the ages of 14-21 and in school with an IEP or 504 plan
- Private school, charter school, virtual and homeschooled students with documentation including disability information from their school
- Career Camp Authorization from VR
Topics Include the Following:
- Work Readiness - 20 Hours
- Work Based Learning Experiences - 20 Hours
- Job Exploration Counseling - 10 hours
Doors open at 7:30 AM
Extend the Day from 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM, no cost.
