Our Programs

Homeownership
The Homeownership program serves families by providing safe, well-built, affordable housing options. As a working single mother, traditional avenues of buying a home were out of reach for Ashley Hunter, but Habitat's affordable housing option helped put her in a stable place to build a better future.

Preservation and Repair
The Preservation & Repair program provides critical home repairs and accessibility modifications to homeowners. Ms. Ralean Peak, a widower and mother, needed extensive repairs to her 85 year old home. Over the course of a month, we provided essential repairs like a roof replacement, electrical rewiring, and other updates the property desperately needed, ensuring the Ms. Ralean can remain in her home for years to come.

Youth Construction Academy
The Youth Construction Academy takes students from classroom to construction site, building a Habitat home from start to finish. Students gain certifications and learn valuable trade skills to help them build a career in the industry. Students get to see the change their work can make when the keys to an affordable home are given to the homeowner.

Veterans Housing Initiative
The Veterans Housing Initiative aims to provide veterans with the housing assistance they need, whether that means a chance at home ownership or help with home repairs and accessibility modifications, We hope to give back to those who have served our country, this includes heroes like Kenneth, a disabled veteran who once again has a safe place to call home.
